Lorraine Sandler touches the panel that her sister, Sheila Broomberg, cross stitched while she was still alive. Though Lorraine has lived in Toronto for over 30 years she is originally from Zimbabwe, where her sister spent her last days. Though Sheila was very ill, she said cross stitching the Hebrew verses of the Torah helped make her feel better.
